Candor: Only you can answer that question.  But from your post I didn't detect any AFC-ness.  It smelled like logical analysis to me.  The analysis might be wrong, but I don't think your motivations were.

Candor: Tell her you have another commitment for the time she suggested, BUT immediately add that there is another specific time that would work for you.  Tell her that you think that she can work out her problems much better when she's not in a rush to go anywhere, so get her to commit to a time that's not right before a meeting with her boyfriend. She might try to suggest a public place (trying to give herself escape routes), but tell her you don't feel like going out anywhere.

And, more importantly, any thoughts on Red Bull vs. Alcohol????

Alias: I think you had a prime opportunity and let it slip. No doubt such an opportunity will present itself again, but this time, get in there and kiss her! Before she LJBFs you and starts leaning on your shoulder every time you see her!As for Red Bull, yes its an upper, and yes it will increase your heart rate, but any more than 2 in a night and it starts to leave a terrible aftertaste in your mouth not to mention the shit ain't good for you at all.

Candor: Different chicks have different reactions to the same substances.  I wouldn't make a general rule. As for me, a little bit of caffeine turns me into a nervous wreck, whereas I can drink 6 beers and convince just about anyone I'm sober (except for the breath, of course).  Depending on the chick, either Red Bull or alcohol could help you or hurt you.  The best thing would be an aphrodisiac, but that would be a bit underhanded, wouldn't it?

Shadow: Seems like you're VERY close to getting LJBF'd. Don't eject, just make sure you go in for the *close.  SHOW her that you're the one for her! If you make things perfect between you and her and it starts to move, I think there's a great chance she'll dump Mr. Wrong.

Jake: Women having certain sorts of trouble with a BF are a waste of time. If the complaint is that he's too strong (EG: screwing around, violent, unreliable or a PUA) then he's doing it *right* and you stand NO chance. If the complaint is that he's weak, clingy, AFC or something, then it's a different story. You don't often hear that one though - those women don't hang around talking for long - they WALK.
