Using Mirroing to avoid being fearful IIauthor: "Orgasmatron" Sheek 04-03-2006, 01:10 PM I've studied NLP for a while now, and even the experts don't explain it this well. Rep for you! By the way, about the brains section: just in case anyone is wondering, this is all 100% true. You HAVE 3 brains, and they're wrapped around each other. The first is your "R Complex" brain, which is still present in reptiles like snakes & lizards. This is responsible for instincts. The second is your "limbic system," which is responsible for emotions - mood, memory, etc. Dogs, horses, cats, and most mammals have this. The third is your "neocortex," which is responsible for higher-level logic and language. This allows for ideas, imagination, and planning, as well as social interactions and language. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- orgasmatron04-03-2006, 06:15 PM Hey guys, First of all I do not practice NLP. What I do is similar to NLP but the method to apply changework is totally different from NLP. Now NLP has been handed down to us almost like Chinese Whispers. In Chinese Whispers one person starts the original message and whipers it to another person. Then that person whispers the message over to another person. After some time the original message becomes modified or lost. This is what I believe has happened in some way to what Milton Erickson created. A couple of Ph.D's took Erickson's work and wrote some books and made some money. Then workshops and made some money too. Then rebranding and repackaging the message. If you ever bought a video on NLP like I have many of them it takes 30 minutes to get to the freaking point. What can be said in one sentence takes 30 minutes during a seminar. So basically you have to read a ton of books in order to get 30 pages worth of the actual knowledge about NLP. Now NLP does work. There have been people who modified some of the NLP tactics for seduction work. The only problem I have with NLP is that it works for a short period of time and in order to make the anchors you created in your target permanent you have to use proggressive conditioning methods over a period of time. My method is to use lifetime anchors of my target to escalate specific emotional states by transmitting her anchors back to her. Thus it works better than NLP and the effects are more permanent. If I ask you to remember the most painful moment of your life and ask to relive it in your mind. What happens is that you reinforce that pain because your reliving it in your mind. By recalling something you reinforce it. So guess what happens when you go to a Freudian Psycho(ANAL)yst. You feel worst. Knowing the source or cause of your pain will not make it go away. The rational approach to helping people does not work because humans have Mammalian Brains too. For those who enjoy pain and suffering you can buy any books by Milton himself and there are videos of him doing his work on subjects. Any NLP book on creating anchors will help explain what they are so you can spot them on a person. For example if a woman is laughing in a happy state she may swing her head back to the left. Another woman for her happy state wiggles her thumb. Each person is different because they all have different life experiences. |
